Conspiracy Theories

It was 1945 and millions of gold bars where being poured into offshore banks by non other then Nazi Germany. The Nazis gathered much gold from Jewish people, countries they conquered, and many other looted places. But after the Third Reich collapsed all of Germany's money had to be seized so the Government totalled up some $550m in gold from foreign governments, including $223m from Belgium and $193m from the Netherlands. All this gold could have been a great value but unfortunately there is a problem, no one can find it. By the end of 1945 the gold had disappeared from the European Bank in Switzerland and no one has been able to find since.

Here are my 2 theories on what happened to the gold that Germany tried to smuggle away...

Nazi survival...

Picture
There were hundreds of Nazi soldiers when the Third Reich collapsed so it makes me wonder...if there are so many soldiers and some had been taught since birth that the Third Reich was the most dominant power in the world so doesn't it stand ti reason that some of them would want to keep Nazi Germany going. Now what better way to keep the Third Riech going then with money that was stored away for exactly that reason. Now they had to have had a plan if everything had crumbled to keep everything going then put money away and keep things going in secret until they can come back into power.

America's Greatest Robbery

Picture
Now here is the more likely culprit you may have been wondering what the greatest bank robbery is. Now the best bank robbery is one that no one would ever know about. Now back in 1945 there were thousands of US soldiers that were getting blown to pieces for 50 bucks a month and they had been seizing rich cities in Germany now if they knew that millions of gold bars were just sitting in a bank waiting they could take the gold and bring it back via swiss bank accounts and live happy the rest of there lives. Kinda makes since don't it?

Based on the true story...

Now here is a golden movie for the ages. This is a movie where the character of Lieutenant Kelly played by Clint Eastwood learns of a German bank with 16 million dollars of gold bars that lies behind enemy lines. So him and a nut ball crew go through some heavy antics to go beyond enemy lines to collect the money and get out of this pointless war. Now it may not be the real thing but this probably the closest to the real thing that it could get.
